Dr.Lily Kho has a keen interest in the management of subfertility in patients with endometrial hyperplasia (a pre-cancerous condition of the womb).

Prior to joining Alpha IVF Centre and Alpha Women’s Specialists, Dr. Lily Kho Chye Lee worked as a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). Dr. Kho’s clinical interests include the management of urgent gynaecological conditions, early pregnancy care and gynaecological surgeries.

As Deputy Lead of the Urgent Obstetrics and Gynaecology Centre (UOGC) at KKH, she focused on developing and improving clinical protocols and workflows to enhance patient care. In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Kho was actively involved in academic teaching as a Clinical Assistant Professor of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Obstetrics & Gynaecology Academic Clinical Programme and as a Content Expert, Clinical Teacher, and Clinical Practice Facilitator at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

Philosophy of Fertility Care

Dr. Lily Kho’s approach to maternal care focuses on the needs of the mother, delivering individualized treatment plans as part of early pregnancy management. She understands that the early stages of pregnancy are an extremely delicate time and is passionate about improving the management of patients during this wondrous period where life has just been conceived.

As such, she developed and spearheaded the Miscarriage Workgroup at KKH, which aimed to improve the management of patients in their early pregnancy, giving the best outcomes to expecting mothers and their babies.

Dr. Kho emphasizes the importance of patient safety and clear communication, ensuring that patients are well-supported throughout their healthcare journey. Being a mother herself, she understands the challenges that mothers face from conception to pregnancy and goes above and beyond the call of duty to promote the safety of both mother and baby.
